Mr Guep's photographs exhibition

From Feb. 7 to Feb. 27 2012
Cours des 50 Otages
Accès libre
Hip hop in Nantes. It would not exist without the passion and commitment of its activists from yesterday, today and tomorrow. DAVID GALLARD – commonly named as MR GUEP – photographed in privacy these flows and scratches lovers, who moulded in the shade this culture from generation to generation, in places that influenced their course. Amazing testimonies are shown through MR GUEP's lense, who sets up the portrait of hip hop and its disciplines – Graffiti art, Rap, Dance and Djing – in a human and over the generations approach. In the street, the movement takes all its sense : it gets back to its genuine and original place.
Organized by la Ville de Nantes and Pick Up Production.

CHAE 46, an independant illustrator and silkscreen printer from the Olivettes hood in Nantes, presents his second personal exhibition, « MOTOR SHOP ». This is an hommage to the history of motorcycle and most particularly to the mythical japanese sportive models of the 90's, to the work of the brands, engineers, designers, graphic designers that made him dream all along his childhood. On that occasion, CHAE puts away his usual characters to work a graphic style with no outlines according to his theme.
